Wonderful

Great value for money. Clean, updated, good breakfast, nice staff and excellent location with immediate access to buses and underground. Bonus was a really nice Pub just outside the hotel entrance.

Nicely decorated hotel with friendly staff. Rooms bigger size than most in London. Good location very close to the underground Piccadilly line.

Great location, good food, nice helpful staff but disappointed with some of the communal areas. Not what I would expect

The bar area was very nice …. Art Deco Theme. Room basic, but clean and bed very comfortable. Great breakfast, good selection of full English or continental.

Some comunual areas were horrible especially the corridors and lift area. Rubbish bags, dirty linen bags and dirty glasses still left outside rooms at 7pm!!

Room was too warm with window shut .. opened window, but then too noisy.

Top Hotel - top location - top price

Superb Hotel with a top location, also public transport is just 2 Minutes away! The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and the sanitary is absolutely fine. For all of this, in London, the price is really unbeatable.

Would I stay here again?

Breakfast choice was superb

Corridors could be a little noisy when housekeeping were at work. Didn't affect us but due to maintenance no hot water between 10 am and 4 pm When water was on was barely warm could not regulate temp of water even after reception called to come and fix.

Wonderful

Breakfast was better than i thought it would be, staff were so helpful and polite.

In the early evening around 5 - 6 there was alot of noise, bashing of doors and loud shouting from the rooms next door. However this did stop later on.

I would definitely return and will recommend it to anyone asking where to stay in London!

The location was great! It’s on the Piccadilly tube line and the sightseeing bus routes. Amazing bakery one street over, little pub across the road, and a couple great coffee shops and food spots. Also a Tesco express and tube station around the corner.

The decor in the lobby and lounge needs updating.

Good location, very helpful staff and a comfortable stay.

The location is excellent for the British Museum, the Foundling Museum and Oxford St.

The hotel is currently being refurbished in parts. Although everything works OK the refurbishment is needed.

Great location , decent size room and very clean . Breakfast really good as well

It was only when we checked in that we were told there was maintenance work going on and the hotel didn’t have any hot water between the hours of 10-5

Breakfast wasn't great but OK. Needs a paint job in some places but don't let that stop you. Perfect for visiting london

Reasonable value in an expensive city

Clean and comfortable and close to Russell Sq tube and the very green Russell Square.

Like almost all uk accommodation they need enough (more) towel rails for 2 travellers if they want you to not need clean towels every day

Wonderful

The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was great! Housekeeping was great, beds made daily. Breakfast was fresh and lots to choose from, there was plenty for everyone. Staff were very helpful. I asked for a taxi one morning and the staff arranged it and one arrived straight away.

The noise from the room next door! Either the walls were thin or the people were very loud, but I could hear talking early mornings and late at night and the closing of their door!

Friendly staff. Disappointing food.

Really friendly staff. Clean and well organised. Great selection of food to choose from for breakfast. Great location for British Museum and in easy walking distance to other attractions: Covent Garden, National Portrait Gallery, and Driry Lane theatres, for example.

The main meals were disappointing. We looked at the menu before we booked, and although we thought it somewhat limited, guest reviews had assured us it would be 'tasty'. However, on the two nights we did eat there, we found the food lacked finesse in presentation and in value for money.

Such a great hotel, would definitely stay here again!

The staff and facilities were absolutely wonderful! Luggage storage was simple and easy, and our room was ready before check in! We got "upgraded" to a room with a view of the park which was so lovely! Location is great, lots of dining nearby and very close to a tube station for easy commute around London!

The only complaint I have is that there was no air conditioning so it got a bit hot and stuffy in the room. But our windows opened and there was a fan in the room to use so it was very manageable! Just something to consider when traveling in the warmer months.

Hotel was situated in a lovely area.

That there was a tax on the drinks and food in the restaurant downstairs. Other than that was very happy with everything!
